➤ March to another territory

Battle

How to play (WotR Crusade-like)

• Move: click your army → blue hexes = range (8/turn, forests cost 2, roads 0.5). Orange ➤ hexes are exits to adjacent territories.
• Territories: open the 🗺️ World Map to jump between the 7 realms of Aurathen (Glimmerwood is sealed). Armies cross only via exits: one army = 2 turns, all forces in a territory = 4 turns.
• Recruit: stand an army on a friendly town or 🏯 fort → buy units. Forts also muster +8⚔️/turn and are raised citadels (+30 defense).
• Build: towns & forts construct Walls / Market / Granary / Shrine / Watch — all need 🧱 stone.
• ⛏️ Mines quarry +14🧱/turn. ⚖️ Trading posts pay +45🪙/turn for your armies. Seize them! You start with no lands — work inland from Crones.
• Fight: move onto an enemy army or site to open the tactics grid — one fighter per troop type (bigger stacks hit harder, live longer). Blue = march, red = strike, purple = unit skills in the quick-action bar, d20 decides each blow. Retreat, Auto-resolve, or fight it out. Fort assaults use the fort chart; battle music plays if Music is on.
• New troops: 🔥 Battle Mages (Fireball), 🐺 Dire Wolves (Howl shields allies — 200 wolves = 50%; Growl shakes foes), 🌲 Druids (heal + summon thornlings that draw fire), 🔪 Assassins (weak in mixed warbands; pure warbands march 3× and freeze weaker foes 3 turns), 🐘 War Elephants (trample), 🐉 Dragons (huge AoE — burns your own troops too, escort with one unit only).
• Territories (weakest → strongest): Crones → Belly of the World → Verandel → Blossomsreach → Lakes of Serenity → Great Mountains of Thoth → Cyrinthor (the Capitol). The World Map lists each realm's rank.
• Securing realms: hold every hold in a territory to secure it — each secured realm (Crones → Thoth) weakens all imperial forces 5%, up to −30% when you march on the Capitol.
• Forts & shadow work: every fort has a 📜 Fort Info tab naming its warden and the area's enemy commander. Hold the fort with a pure assassin warband to attempt an assassination: sneak the blades to the commander without touching red vision cones. No land changes hands, but every enemy in that territory is weakened for 14 turns.
• Generals: muster one 🎖️ general per army at a town/fort. Passive auras + own skill. Generals hold a board spot, never move, and cannot be struck until their troops fall.
• Save: 💾 Save keeps your campaign (auto-saves every turn too); 📂 Load continues where you left off. 🔗 Share copies a link carrying your exact campaign — send it to your phone and open it there to keep playing.
• Economy: sites pay each turn; armies eat gold upkeep.
• Win: capture the Legion Capitol of Cyrinthor (secure all six other realms first and the Empire fights 30% weaker). Lose: lose every Lantern army.

Each territory uses its exact hand-drawn chart (Crones, Cyrinthor, Lakes of Serenity, Great Mountains of Thoth, Blossomsreach, Verandel, Belly of the World). Music is your provided medieval study track (assets/music.mp3), looped. Toggle with 🎵 Music.
